The name 68North refers to one of the most beautiful and rugged places in Scandinavia: the Lofoten Islands in Norway. Located just above the Arctic Circle at 68 degrees north latitude, it is where Michel made the decision to follow his heart: building sustainable impact.

Michel Acda has over 20 years of leadership experience with market leaders in food and non-food industries, including Philips, Unilever, JDE Peet’s, and Nomad Foods. He has led commercial and organizational transformations and launched innovation platforms in various European countries, including more than 3 years in Scandinavia. Michel is driven by his passion to contribute to the sustainable transformation of our food system. He is a member of the Supervisory Board of Proveg Netherlands and serves as a mentor in various start-up and scale-up accelerator programs, including StartLife at Wageningen University.
